16:00 – Dundee United vs Hibernian (Scottish FA Cup)
Betting tip: Hibernian to win
Dundee United face off against Hibernian in a potentially historic FA Cup semi-final for both clubs, though Hibs are favoured to book their place in the competition’s showpiece finale at the Tangerines’ expense. Hibernian have won three of their last four encounters with United and their superior class should tell at Hampden Park.
16:00 – Lyon vs Lorient (Ligue 1)
Betting tip: Lyon to win
Lyon kept their slim Ligue 1 title hopes alive with a dramatic 3-2 triumph at Monaco last week, though they should find the going easier at home to Lorient. The visitors are just outside the drop zone and they have failed to win any of their last 14 assignments on the road in all competitions.
17:00 – Inter Milan vs Sampdoria (Serie A)
Betting tip: Inter Milan to win
Recently crowned champions Inter will be in celebratory mood in Milan, and with the pressure off, they should enjoy a routine win against Sampdoria. La Samp have toppled Inter on their own patch just once since the early 1990s and they should struggle against Italy’s best team again on Saturday.
17:30 – Bayern Munich vs Borussia Monchengladbach (Bundesliga)
Betting tip: Bayern Munich to win
Bayern might already be declared champions if Dortmund beat RB Leipzig earlier in the day, though the dominant Bavarians can seal the deal at home to Gladbach if required. Die Fohlen’s only away win in their last eight attempts came at the expense of bottom club Schalke, and Gladbach’s travel sickness could see them knocked around again in Munich.
18:30 – Hatayspor vs Denizlispor (Turkish Super Lig)
Betting tip: Hatayspor to win
Hatayspor’s European qualification charge has hit a few bumps in recent weeks, though they should be able to get back on track against the Super Lig’s bottom club, Denizlispor. Hatayspor have won three of their last four matches on home soil and they recorded a routine 2-0 victory when they visited Denizlispor in January.
19:00 – Troyes vs Dunkerque (Ligue 2)
Table-topping Troyes can seal the Ligue 2 title with a win this weekend, and they should have little trouble swatting an inconsistent Dunkerque outfit aside. The visitors have one only one of their last 12 away tests, and that was against rock bottom Chateauroux.
19:30 – Young Boys vs Basel (Swiss Super League)
Betting tip: Young Boys to win
Young Boys are streets ahead of the competition in the Super League and they can reaffirm their position as top dogs in Switzerland with a win at home to second-place Basel. FCB have only managed to win one of their last seven matches on the road and their habit of dropping points on their travels could get them in trouble again in Bern.
20:00 – Athletic Club vs Osasuna (La Liga)
Betting tip: Athletic Club to win
Athletic are finishing the campaign with a flourish and they can supplement their recent wins over title challengers Atletico Madrid and Sevilla with another victory against Basque neighbours Osasuna. Los Rojillos have tasted defeat twice in a row away from home and more misery on the road awaits in Bilbao.
20:30 – FC Dallas vs Houston Dynamo (MLS)
Betting tip: FC Dallas to win
Texas rivals Dallas and Houston are locked on four points each three games into the new MLS season, though FC have had the edge on their neighbours in recent encounters. Dallas have been comfortable victors in each of the teams’ last three battles at the Toyota Stadium, and fresh from a confidence-building 4-1 win over Portland at the same venue, the hosts are worth backing again.
