England’s Women are on the verge of history, as they seek to end almost 60 years of hurt with a first-ever Women’s World Cup win. Sarina Wiegman’s side lifted the European Championship trophy at Wembley last year, beating Sunday’s opponents Spain on the way.

Ahead of the Women’s World Cup final I’ve picked out four selections for the clash which combine for a massive 101/1 Ultimate Bet Builder. We’ve priced this one up with Betfair and new customers can get £40 in free bets through the link below!

Spain Women vs England Women Ultimate Bet Builder

England to lift the trophy

England are the European champions after being Germany at Wembley last year and they were able to see off Spain on their way to that final. Sarina Wiegman won the Euros with the Netherlands before making the World Cup final in 2019, so she’s hoping that her return to this stage has a better ending.

Wiegman’s side have been great at this tournament, warming up with two 1-0 group wins before a 6-1 victory over China. While they struggled in the last 16 clash with Nigeria, the fact that the side improved in extra time is a good omen for this clash. Our Spain Women vs England Women predictions point to a draw in 90 minutes and I’d back England to get the better of their opponents in extra time.

Lauren Hemp to score

Lauren Hemp has had a massive hand in sending England to the final, chipping in with three goals at this tournament. She struck the equaliser against Colombia before adding the third against Australia.

Hemp is part of a fearsome strike partnership with Alessia Russo and she’s the bigger price of the two forwards to score. With three goals in her last four matches, she looks like great value to find the net within 90 minutes in the final.

Jenni Hermoso to score or assist

It’s not just England who have in-form forwards going into this clash, with Spain’s Jenni Hermoso involved in five goals for her nation at the World Cup. She’s scored three times in Spain’s run to the final, while she’s also chipped in with two assists to boot.

Hermoso plays as the main striker in a typical Spanish 4-3-3 and she should expect to be involved in this one. She averages 1.2 shots on target per game and 2 key passes per match, so she’s a great bet to either score or assist within 90 minutes in this clash.

Georgia Stanway to be carded

Finally, Georgia Stanway leads England players in terms of fouls per game at this tournament, making 1.3 per match so far. She was booked in the opening win over Haiti and she could well finish the tournament with another booking.

Stanway wasn’t afraid to get stuck in through the final two games at the Euros, making three fouls in the semi-final and final, seeing a yellow card in each.

She’s been very disciplined so far after getting a caution in her first game but now she’s made it to the final that pressure is removed and she could end up in the referees’ notebook as the deepest member of an England midfield who will need to track plenty of Spanish runners.
