Back our 14/1 Liverpool vs Bournemouth Bet Builder here!
Cody Gakpo to score anytime
From reigning Premier League top scorer to new signings Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz, there are a number of dangerous attackers in the Liverpool squad.
However, Cody Gakpo was the most impressive of the bunch in pre-season, scoring four goals in as many appearances, and the Dutch forward appeals as an anytime-scorer pick in the Premier League curtain-raiser.
Hugo Ekitike to have 3 or more shots
Hugo Ekitike scored from one of his three shots in the Community Shield last weekend and had more attempts on goal than any other player in the Bundesliga last term.
He has had three or more shots in eight of his last 11 for Eintracht Frankfurt and Liverpool and will be hoping to hit the ground running at Anfield.
Antoine Semenyo to have 1+ shot on target
Antoine Semenyo had more shots than any other Premier League player last season, hitting the target with 40 of his 125 efforts.
He had at least one shot on target in six of his final nine games and hit the target four times across two meetings with Liverpool, while the Reds have looked open at the back in pre-season.
Bournemouth goalkeeper to make 4 or more saves
New Bournemouth stopper Djordje Petrovic had the second-highest save percentage in Ligue 1 last season and will have the chance to show his quality at Anfield.
Liverpool led the Premier League for shots (639) and shots on target (215) last season and have registered at least four shots on target in seven of their last nine competitive matches.
Bournemouth to commit 13 or more fouls
Bournemouth committed more fouls than any other side in the Premier League last season, averaging 13.8 fouls per game.
They topped unlucky number 13 in 20 of their final 24 competitive games, including 15 offences against Liverpool in February.
