A 0-0 draw with the USA prevented England booking their last 16 spot early. They need a result against Wales in their final game to secure their place in the knockouts, but the Welsh are still chasing a top-two finish themselves.

That’s set up for a final-day derby clash between these two British rivals. We’ve already covered the game in our Wales vs England predictions, but we’ve also got a 49/1 Ultimate Bet Builder for you below!

Wales vs England Ultimate Bet Builder

England to win by one goal

Wales have lost four of their last five games coming into this one, with three of those defeats coming by a single goal. They lost by two or Iran last time out, but that was after they threw men forward at 1-0 down. The Welsh have lost six games in 2022, with five of those coming by a single goal.

England struggled to get into any kind of attacking verve against the USA but they shouldn’t be quite as hard-pressed in this clash. Back the Three Lions to edge this one by a one-goal margin.

Harry Kane to score

Kane has scored 19 England goals since the start of 2021 and he’s got 12 Premier League goals to his name so far. He hasn’t quite looked his best at this tournament, but the golden boot winner in Russia four years ago has enough quality to get his first goal in Qatar on Tuesday night.

Bukayo Saka to have 1+ shot on target

Saka has been England’s most threatening player at this tournament so far. He leads the way for the Three Lions with two goals and he has attempted more shots on target per game than any other England player.

Saka’s pace should be huge threat to the Welsh defence and the Arsenal forward is in fantastic form. Back him to test Danny Ward with at least one shot on target.

Wales to receive the most cards

Wales have picked up three cards at this tournament so far, while England are yet to have a player booked. The Welsh should spend the majority of time without the ball in this clash, so they’re more likely to rack up cards.

Wales were shown three yellows in a friendly clash between these two sides in 2020 and no English players were shown a card that night. Back the Welsh to dominate in the referees’ notebook in this clash.

Over 5.5 England corners

With more of the ball, England should lead the way in terms of corners too. They have averaged six per game through the tournament so far and given their threat from set pieces they should look to get plenty of corners in this clash. The Welsh are a side who tend to play with their backs to the wall and sitting that deep should result in plenty of England corners.
