On Saturday evening at Goodison Park, an ailing Everton team will attempt to halt the Manchester City goal-scoring juggernaut in an intriguing looking Premier League encounter.

Having lost three of their last four league fixtures, Everton’s descent down the standings has been rapid in recent weeks and another reverse this weekend could send them spiralling into the relegation zone.

In contrast, the free-scoring Citizens will be aiming to add to the incredible 24-goals they’ve already plundered in just six Premier League fixtures this season, as they continue to hunt down Everton’s Merseyside rivals Liverpool at the summit of the table.

Saturday’s contest has all the makings of a thrilling game, and that in turn opens up a wide range of betting options and markets to explore for the game.

Over at bet365, their Bet Builder service allows you to combine many of those markets to create a unique bet, and we’ve picked out a range of selections from Saturday’s skirmish between Everton and Man City, that we think are well worth considering for your slip this week.

Check them out below.

Don’t forget – You can also take a look at all of our other predictions and betting tips for the weekend’s action on our Premier League prediction page.

What is bet365’s Bet Builder?

Bet Builder allows you create the bet YOU want on any football match. You can choose from a list of the most popular markets and once you have added them to your bet, you can calculate the odds from your customised selection.

For example, you could combine first goalscorer, both teams to score, the total number of corners and the full-time result to create one single bet with the price for your multi-part selection.

You can add up to 6 separate markets to your Bet Builder selection, and your odds will update automatically each time you add a new selection.

Once you are finished and happy with your selections, select the price displayed on the Bet Builder slip and your unique bet will be added to your bet slip.

Everton vs Manchester City Bet Builder Tips

Both teams to score

While Manchester City’s sparkling attack continues to be incredibly productive, their defending has fallen below the club’s usual exceptional standards of late.

The Citizens managed to keep only two clean sheets in their last five Premier League fixtures, and the defending champions kept their hosts out just seven times in their last 16 league matches on the road overall since last November.

Everton’s failure to hit the net at home to Sheffield United in their last game at Goodison Park was the first time they were unable to register in seven attempts at home in the Premier League.

In addition, both the Toffees and Man City got on the scoresheet in five of the last seven meetings between the clubs since January 2016.

We publish new both teams to score betting tips with fresh fixtures and matches to choose from every day on our dedicated BTTS page. Make sure to check it out!

Under 4 cards for both teams combined

Both Everton and Manchester City have been quite well behaved in the Premier League this season, and we think referee Michael Oliver’s cards will stay in his pocket for most of Saturday’s contest between the teams at Goodison Park.

The Toffees have averaged just two bookings per game so far this term, while City have averaged an even lower 1.66 yellow per contest.

It’s also worth noting that a total of two players were booked for both teams combined across Everton’s last two Premier League encounters with Man City at Goodison Park.

Under 24.5 free kicks

This selection complements our cards total prediction nicely. Remarkably, despite their Premier League-high possession figures this season, Manchester City are statistically the least fouled team in the division.

The Citizens’ players have been fouled just 6.7 times per Premier League match on average since the summer. In comparison, their Manchester rivals United have been fouled 14 times per game on average, while Everton’s equivalent figure stands in between the two at 10.

Last season, just 18 and 16 free kicks were awarded to both teams combined in the brace of Premier League tussles between Everton and Man City respectively.

Over 9 corners

Both Everton and Manchester City rank in the Premier League’s top six this season for average corners won per 90 minutes.

Manchester City are the corner kings, winning a league-high eight corners per Premier League game since the summer, while Everton trail behind them with 6.17.

In terms of overall corner averages per game for both teams combined, both clubs have also returned promising numbers.

An average of 11.17 total corners were awarded in Everton’s Premier League fixtures, while City’s games saw 10.5 corners awarded on average per game.

Raheem Sterling celebrates scoring vs West Ham

Raheem Sterling to score anytime

Prolific City forward Raheem Sterling scored his 7th goal of the season in mid-week in the Citizens’ 3-0 Carabao Cup win at Preston on Tuesday.

The fact that Sterling registered away from the Etihad is of real relevance, and the 24-year old’s goal-getting powers have been much more potent on the road than at home for City this season.

Four of Sterling’s five Premier League goals since the summer were plundered in away matches, and the rapid wide attacker seems to thrive in the more open spaces that are so often made unavailable to him by uber-defensive visiting teams to the Etihad Stadium.

Sterling has already scored three times for City against Everton in his career, and we’re backing him to maintain his away game scoring streak by notching his fourth this weekend.

Our analysts have tipped Sterling and his teammates to take three more Premier League points this weekend in their predictions for Everton’s clash with Manchester City. Read their detailed match preview for more exclusive betting tips.
