We’re still a few weeks away from the start of the European domestic season may be over, but the expanded Club World Cup, along with the start of the Women’s European Championship, the Scandinavian leagues, and the MLS, is still providing our tipsters with plenty to sink their teeth into.

This weekend, our experts have picked out tips from the Club World Cup final, Women’s Euros, the Scottish League Cup, and MLS, culminating in a huge 177/1 accumulator.

Sweden Women vs Germany Women – Over 2.5 goals at 19/20 with bet365

Sweden and Germany have both qualified for the knockout stages of Euro 2025 and both teams will be going all out to finish top of Group C.

While both coaches may decide to freshen up their starting XIs ahead of the quarter-finals, both squads are packed with talent and Sweden and Germany come into the game in good form.

Sweden are unbeaten in 14 matches, scoring in 15 of their last 17 fixtures. Germany have not lost in their previous eight and both sides have scored four goals in their opening two games.

Neither side will want to finish second, so expect both teams to play on the front foot as they try to maintain their current form in front of goal.

Netherlands Women vs France Women – France to win and both teams to score at 12/5 with bet365

France landed the result of the group stage so far when beating defending champions England 2-1 in their opener and despite a spate of changes ahead of their next game, they followed up with a 4-1 rout of Wales.

A draw would be enough to see them seal top spot in Group D but they have so much attacking talent it is hard to see the French letting up, with another win expected against a Dutch side still reeling from a 4-0 hammering by England.

The Netherlands are unlikely to be quite as bad going forwards against France, a side who have failed to keep a clean sheet at Euro 2025, and should have enough to net in defeat.

Chelsea vs PSG – PSG to win to nil at 9/4 with bet365

PSG humiliated the most successful side in Club World Cup history to reach their first-ever final, and they can follow Champions League glory with another trophy at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

Their 4-0 thrashing of Real Madrid was their tenth win in their last 11 games, and the last seven of these victories have been accompanied by a clean sheet.

This includes wins to nil against Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid, so Chelsea have their work cut out if they are to trouble this impervious Parisien defence.

Philadelphia Union vs New York Red Bulls – Philadelphia Union at 4/5 with bet365

Philadelphia Union have fallen to successive 1-0 defeat against Columbus Crew and Nashville, which has knocked them off the top of Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference, but their home form is so strong that they should get back to winning way against New York Red Bulls.

The Union had gone 13 games without losing before that pair of reverses , and there should be confidence at Subaru park, where they are unbeaten in their last eight league outings.

Red Bulls also have their eyes on the playoffs and have lost one of their last seven games.

However, there is a concern that they have drawn their last three matches and claimed one success in their last six on the road, so they could be vulnerable.

Warren Ashurst

Dundee vs Airdrieonians – Dundee -1 Handicap at 4/5 with bet365

The new era under boss Steven Pressley starts in earnest on Saturday, when Dundee play host to Airdrieonians in the Scottish League Cup.

The former Dundee United defender has taken charge at Dens Park during the summer and he will expect to get off to a winning start against a team from a lower division.

The Dee have brought in several new faces during the close season, including on-loan Brentford winger Tony Yogane, who should have an impact at this level.

Dundee have not conceded a goal in their two pre-season friendlies and Pressley will be demanding a strong start to the new campaign, against a team they beat 4-0 in last season’s Scottish Cup.

Gareth Freeman

Colorado Rapids vs Vancouver Whitecaps – Vancouver to win at 31/20 with bet365

Vancouver beat Colorado 2-0 in a reverse fixture earlier in the season and were thoroughly dominant. The Whitecaps’ levels have dipped since, but they are facing a struggling Rapids side who have five defeats in their last seven games and this looks like a good opportunity for the Western Conference high-flyers to pick up another three points.

The Rapids come into the game after a comprehensive midweek 3-0 defeat at LAFC and Vancouver have had a few extra days to prepare for this game. That should set them up for a victory.
