Who to Bench

Dimitri Payet

The influential West Ham playmaker suffered an ankle strain and is probably going to miss a few weeks. Keep him on the bench, he’s not likely to be out for too long.

Anthony Martial

The promising Manchester United striker left Wembley on crutches after playing for France on Tuesday. It’s been confirmed in the press conference as a minor ankle injury, but he’s likely to miss Saturday’s game. Hopefully he’ll be back next week though, so don’t sell him just yet.

West Brom Defenders

Yes, they may be cheap and keep a good amount of clean sheets, but West Brom face Arsenal this weekend. West Brom keep clean sheets often, but when they concede the flood gates open and minus points come flooding in for their back line. I can’t see them keeping Arsenal out, so I’m expecting them to concede a fair few goals on Saturday.

Who to Buy

Manuel Lanzini – Price: 5.3 Million

With Dimitri Payet injured it’s likely that the in form Lanzini will take up a central attacking role on Saturday. Lanzini has showed his class and quality in recent weeks from the wings, and he has picked up 45 points so far this season.

Crystal Palace Midfielders

With the Crystal Palace strikers either injured or not firing, they are relying heavily on the likes of Yannick Bolasie, Wilfried Zaha, Bakary Sako, and Yohann Cabaye to lead the line. These four have picked up 154 points between them and now have back to back home games against Sunderland and Newcastle to look forward to. Points could be on the horizon, especially as Bolasie and Sako were employed as strikers in their 2-1 win over Liverpool last time out.

Alexis Sanchez or Mesut Ozil

Arsenal have a very kind run of fixtures coming up including West Brom, Norwich, and Sunderland. They are in excellent form and are determined to keep their Premier League title challenge going. Both of these players are in a high price bracket, but between them they have scored 142 points this season. Ozil has 23 points from his last three games.

Seamus Coleman – Price: 5.9 Million

Everton line up against an Aston Villa side struggling desperately against relegation, and they are shocking up front. Rudy Gestede and Gabby Agbonlahor are also doubtful for the trip to Goodison Park, further limiting their scoring potential. A clean sheet should be on the agenda for the Everton right back, and with his positive attacking intent he could pick up an assist or a goal as well.

Willian – Price: 6.9 Million

Chelsea may be in poor form, but they have a kinder run of fixtures coming up. This starts with a Norwich side who have been shocking defensively, and Willian has been pretty much the only Chelsea player to impress this season. He has scored two goals in his last three games as well, and seems to be the set piece master for the struggling champions.

Ayoze Perez – Price: 5.1 Million

One from the bargain basement here. Ayoe Perez has notched three goals and two assists in his last six games, and while Newcastle may be underdogs as they host Leicester they can certainly get on the scoresheet. Leicester rarely keep clean sheets, and between Perez and Wijnaldum there could be a goal or two in it for Newcastle.
