Who to Bench

Graziano Pelle

The in form Southampton striker is suspended for their visit to Manchester City. Don’t sell him though, he has games against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace coming up in the next few weeks.

Alexis Sanchez

Sanchez is a key player for Arsenal and he’s listed as doubtful for their visit to Norwich. I doubt Arsene Wenger will risk playing him from the start in an easily winnable game, and my guess is he will only come on if the Gunners are struggling. This means a lack of minutes for him to gain points, stick him on the bench until next weekend.

Who to Buy

Aaron Cresswell – Price: 5.5 Million

The West Ham left back has created a good amount of chances for West Ham in the last month or so, and he sits at the top of the West Ham defenders points chart with 44 points. The Hammers host West Brom this weekend as well. The visitors have netted just three times away from home this season so Cresswell is looking very good value to pick up points at both ends of the pitch.

Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney

Watford captain Troy Deeney has netted three times in his last four games after finally breaking his Premier League scoring duck. Odion Ighalo has been Watford’s main man from the start, and they cost just 10.8 million combined and have picked up 122 points between them. They come up against an Aston Villa side who have lost ten of their 13 games so far this season.

Christian Eriksen – Price: 8.4 Million

It may be Harry Kane who is reaping the plaudits, but the presence of Christian Eriksen can’t be ignored. If Harry Kane scored, the likelihood is that the assist came from Eriksen. Without him, Spurs just don’t perform. They host the struggling Chelsea on Sunday and I fancy Eriksen to add to his 55 point haul. Feel free to stick Kane in there as well though.

Romelu Lukaku – Price: 8.9 Million

The big Belgian has raked in 34 points in the last three weeks for Everton, and the Liverpool outfit visit a defensively shocking Bournemouth side on Saturday. The powerful Lukaku terrorises the less organised and capable defenders in the Premier League and I think he’ll grab a goal or two this weekend.

Ross Barkley – Price: 7.0 Million

The young Evertonian has been in great form this season, and he could easily add a couple of goals to his tally against Bournemouth, as well as supplying Lukaku with some chances.
