Who to Bench

Jamie Vardy

The top scorer in the Premier League is a doubt for Leicester’s trip to Spurs. The visitors have hit a stumbling block in recent weeks as well, not scoring for three matches now. They face the Premier League’s best defence in Spurs as well, so I’m not expecting much luck up front for Leicester.

Riyad Mahrez

Same as above, I think Leicester will struggle to break down a very organised and solid Spurs back line.

Romelu Lukaku

In form Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is also a doubt for their trip to Manchester City. Even if he does play, Manchester City’s home form has been excellent recently and Lukaku tends to struggle against the top clubs in the Premier League.

Who to Buy

Odion Ighalo – Price: 6.4 Million

The in form Watford striker has picked up 33 points in his last five appearances, and they come up against the struggling Southampton on Wednesday. With Lukaku and Vardy expected to struggle, Ighalo could be the one to step in for you.

Harry Kane – Price: 9.8 Million

As mentioned, Spurs come up against Leicester at White Hart Lane and they find their star striker in excellent form. He has notched 30 points in his last five matches and picked up 13 points in his last home match. He could bag a few against an unstable Leicester back line.

Aaron Cresswell – Price: 5.5 Million

West Ham have been very hard to break down this season, even during their poor spell of form. This is largely thanks to the work of Aaron Cresswell, who has been rock solid at the back for West Ham. He has picked up 80 points so far this season, and with a match against Bournemouth coming up I can see him adding a few more to that tally. They play Newcastle at the weekend as well.

Dimitri Payet – Price: 7.7 Million

Dimitri Payet played a key part in West Ham’s excellent start to the season before being sidelined for a couple of months. He has been eased back into action over the past couple of games and should be in line for a start against Bournemouth.
