Who to Bench

Harry Kane

If anyone still has him that is. The in demand English talent has yet to score domestically this season and faces a stern Manchester City defence this weekend. They also have the likes of Swansea, Arsenal, and Liverpool in the next month or so.

Everton Attackers

The Everton attackers, such as Romelu Lukaku, have been performing well this season. But a goalless draw at Swansea took the wind from their sails, and they have a defensively sound West Brom on Monday. After that they face a tough trio of Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal, so they could find it difficult to create chances.

Southampton Defenders

The Saints did well at the back last season, but injuries and transfers have taken their toll on their back line. They conceded three against Manchester United on Sunday, and they face good attacking sides in Swansea, Chelsea, and Leicester in the coming weeks.

Who to Buy

Anthony Martial – Price: 8.3 Million

It may be early in his Old Trafford career, but the world’s most expensive teenager Anthony Martial is looking like a good buy. He’s scored three Premier League goals in three appearances and looks to be making an early case for being in the starting lineup. Manchester United play Sunderland at home on Saturday, and with their defence he could easily bag another few goals.

Odion Ighalo – Price: 5.1 Million

An absolute snip at 5.1 million, Odion Ighalo has been the standout attacker for Watford this season. He scored a brace against Newcastle last weekend and they play Crystal Palace at home in the coming gameweek. They follow this with a visit to Bournemouth and then a home game against a shaky Arsenal defence.

Bojan – Price: 5.3 Million

The classy Spaniard made an excellent return from injury against Leicester, netting a goal in his first start since his cruciate ligament injury. He looks to be the focus of all of Stoke’s attack, and he played brilliantly last season before getting injured. Stoke are playing Bournemouth at home as well, so there will definitely be defensive weaknesses to be exploited.

Kevin De Bruyne – 10.0 Million

The new City signing has impressed since coming into the side, proving that he can replicate his excellent performances in the Premier League. He pulled one back against West Ham and played excellent in their League Cup win over Sunderland in midweek. He should definitely be contributing a lot of assists as well as the odd goal, and getting clean sheet points as well.

Chelsea Defenders

They may have been shocking so far, but their clean sheet against Arsenal last weekend could mean that they have turned a corner. They are playing a Newcastle side who have only scored once since the opening day of the season and face Aston Villa at home in a couple of weeks.

West Brom Defenders

Tony Pulis has worked his magic on the Baggies. They have kept four Premier League clean sheets in their six matches so far, and they aren’t facing anyone particularly lethal in front of goal in the coming few weeks.
