In The Mixer: Experts pick their best midweek bets with 90/1 acca!

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

With our Experts’ Accas landing a 260/1 winner in October following September’s 129/1 success, we’ve called them back in to get their takes on this week’s European action.

Together they’ve priced up a 90/1 sixfold, which covers Tuesday to Thursday’s European games. Each of these selections were priced up with bet365 and new customers can sign up and claim £30 in free bets through the link below!

Union Berlin vs Napoli – Napoli to win @ 19/20

Union Berlin have lost their two opening games in the Champions League as part of a seven-game losing streak, so they head into Tuesday’s clash with Napoli as firm outsiders.

The Italian champions have had a mixed start to the season but they put up a real fight in a 3-2 home defeat to Real Madrid, while the Partenopei win 2-1 at Braga to start off with a victory.

Union lost 3-2 at home to Braga in their last European game and Napoli can add to their issues. Back the Italian champions for all three points.

Galatasaray vs Bayern Munich – Bayern to win & over 3.5 goals @ 7/4

Bayern Munich, who have won their opening two matches in the Champions League and are unbeaten in eight away games, should have enough to see off Galatasaray in a high-scoring affair.

Six of Bayern’s last eight games in all competitions have seen over 3.5 goals and their hosts’ opening two Champions League fixtures have seen the ball hit the net on four and five occasions respectively.

Galatasaray would likely have zero points had both Manchester United and Copenhagen received red cards in those games and Bayern, who have scored over four goals on four occasions already this term, look a solid bet with over 3.5 goals.

Ian Wilkerson

Lens vs PSV – Lens to win @ 11/8

I fancy Lens to extend their recovery by gaining three Champions League points against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday.

They took just one point from their opening five league games but have steadied the ship while performing well in Europe with a draw in Sevilla and a 2-1 win over Arsenal in their last outing, coming from behind to beat the Gunners.

PSV have been flying domestically, winning all nine of their league games and scoring at least three times in each of their last eight.

But this represents a step up for a team who were blown away 4-0 by Mikel Arteta’s side and also needed a penalty and a 95th-minute equaliser to earn a point against Sevilla. They may not be as fortunate this time.

Celtic vs Atletico Madrid – Atletico to win @ 19/20

Atletico Madrid are firing on all cylinders at the moment and look a good price at around events to beat a Celtic side who look out of their depth in the Champions League.

The Bhoys have lost both games so far and have taken only two points from their last 12 Champions League group stage games, both of which came against Shakhtar Donetsk last season.

Atletico Madrid have and seem to be scoring at will. They have taken four points from their two group games so far and I expect them to make it seven points on Wednesday.

Antwerp vs Porto – Porto to win @ 21/20

Antwerp have looked out of their depth at Champions League level and Porto could consign them to a third defeat in as many games.

After being battered 5-0 first time out at Barcelona, there were signs that the Belgian champions could be getting a feel for things when they went 2-0 up against Shakhtar Donetsk, only to squander their advantage and lose 3-2.

Wednesday’s visitors Porto have also lost to Barca but at a more respectable 1-0 and were far too good for Shakhtar in their opening 3-1 win.

The Dragons are seasoned campaigners and, as of writing, are just the right side of Evens.

Joe Casey

Aris Limassol vs Real Betis – Betis to win @ 4/5

Real Betis should be able to comfortably see off Aris Limassol on Thursday. The Spanish side have lost just two games in La Liga this season and dominated their last European game against Sparta Prague, winning 2-1.

A replication of that should be enough to get the better of Limassol, who lost 3-2 in Prague in the first game of the group stages.

Betis’ quality should tell here and they need to make ground up in the group after losing to Rangers at Ibrox.

The Alphamega Stadium will pose a different challenge to that but it should be one the visitors can rise to.
