Outmanned Oulu vulnerable to VPS visit

AC Oulu look undermanned for the visit of VPS Vaasa on Saturday and could go down to only their second home defeat of the season. The hosts are without several key players through injury and suspension, having lost three starters from their last game – a 2-1 loss at leaders KuPS.

Midfielder Magnus Breitenmoser and defender Rafinha picked up yellow card suspensions while Kabul-born Finland international Moshtagh Yaghoubi suffered a concussion. Striker Dennis Salanovic has been out for almost two months with an injury and doesn’t look ready to return either.

Oulu could be stretched to breaking point here, which is presumably why they are outsiders for the win despite being five points better off than their guests in the current standings. Vaasa may not look like great value at around 6/5 for the away victory, but they have no new fitness problems and arrive on the back of a three-match away win streak.
