Ajax vs Vojvodina Predictions

• Ajax won the first leg 3-1
• Over 3.5 goals has landed in each of Vojvodina’s last three games

Dutch giants Ajax take on Vojvodina in the second leg of their Conference League qualifier on Thursday holding a virtually unassailable 4-1 lead.

The Amsterdam outfit dominated throughout in the first leg and should be able to win comfortably again, providing they don’t take their foot off the gas too much.

The home side are understandably the heavy favourites so the best angle could be focusing on the goals markets and over 3.5 goals is the pick.

There have been at least four goals scored in each of Vojvodina’s last three games and all five of their games this season have gone over 2.5 goals. The Serbian outfit may be able to contribute to the goals total themselves as they struck in the first leg and Ajax have just one clean sheet in their last five home games, although based on the first leg the hosts could go over 3.5 goals themselves.

Ajax looked a level or two above their opponents in the first leg and they could record a big win in their first home assignment of the season ahead of what should be a more successful campaign. Ajax came in fifth in the Eredivisie last season and will obviously want to improve on that, they can send out an early statement of intent by going one better than their first leg win and a 5-1 home win has a chance.
