Aston Villa and Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Aston Villa beat Fenerbahce 1-0 in last season’s Europa League and they are unbeaten in 13 home European games. They are unbeaten in three and are slowly getting back to their best, but they will do well to keep a clean sheet, having conceded nine in five matches.

      Aston Villa 2-1

      Reason for tip

Villa are winless in three games at home, but they netted twice at Villa Park on Saturday against Brentford and they face a Fenerbahce side that are without a win in eight Champions League outings.

      Aston Villa vs Fenerbahce Predictions

      • Aston Villa are unbeaten in three games in all competitions
      • Fenerbahce are unbeaten in four, but are without a win in eight Champions League matches
      • The Villans beat Fenerbahce 1-0 in the Europa League last season

Villans can finally give their fans something to smile about

Aston Villa are still chasing their first home win of the 26/27 season, but the visit of Fenerbahce in the Champions League will give them every chance of ending that wait on Wednesday night.

Villa returned from the international break on Saturday, but they were held to a spirited 2-2 draw by Brentford at Villa Park.

Unai Emery’s men are winless in three at home, but their record in Europe in the Midlands is impressive. The Villans are unbeaten in 13 home European games, with Emery’s side winning ten of those encounters.

The visit of Fenerbahce is also a boost, with the Turkish giants without a win in eight Champions League games.

Ismail Kartal’s troops have been losing at half-time in eight of their last ten games in the competition, and if they start slowly once again, Villa are capable of punishing them.

After a slow start to the campaign, Villa are now unbeaten in three and they have scored two or more in all of those fixtures.

Clean sheets have been hard to come by, though, with Villa keeping one all season and that should give Fenerbahce the chance to grab a consolation goal, with the Turkish outfit scoring 11 goals in their last two fixtures.
