Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Lincoln City may be winless at home this season, but both teams have scored in three of their four games here and they should have the quality to get on the scoresheet against a West Ham side that have seen goals at both ends in all five away fixtures.

West Ham United 2-1

Reason for tip

Lincoln City have not won any of their four home games and have scored exactly once in defeat in two of them. This includes a 2-1 defeat to Swansea in their last home game, while West Ham have averaged 2.4 goals per game away from home.

Jarrod Bowen To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Jarrod Bowen stands out as the most likely to contribute to the scoresheet, with the 29-year-old scoring against QPR at the weekend to take his tally to seven goals in all competitions.

Lincoln City vs West Ham United Predictions

  • Both teams have scored in all five of West Ham’s away games this season.
  • Lincoln City are yet to win a home game.

Imps can strike in defeat

A draw at home to QPR on Friday extended West Ham’s winless run to three games and left them four points shy of the top of the Championship table by the end of the weekend, but they should be able to get back to winning ways at a Lincoln side yet to win at the LNER Stadium this season.

The Imps have done reasonably well in their first foray into the second flight in over six decades, but all three of their victories have come on their travels and they welcome a Hammers outfit yet to lose away from home.

Lincoln City have scored in three of their four home games, though, and look good value to get on the scoresheet against West Ham, who have seen both teams score in all five away fixtures this season.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side should have the quality to take the points, though. Two of Lincoln’s four home games have seen them score exactly one goal in defeat, including a 2-1 loss to Championship leaders Swansea in their last home fixture, so that looks a solid correct score prediction on Wednesday.

And Jarrod Bowen stands out as the most likely to contribute to the scoresheet, with the 29-year-old scoring against QPR at the weekend to take his tally to seven goals in all competitions.
