Atalanta vs Chievo Betting Tips and Predictions

A decent run of eight points from their last five games has effectively saved Atalanta’s season, as Edy Reja’s men appeared to be freefalling towards Serie B just a few weeks ago. Victories over Bologna and Milan at home sent the club flying up the table, while they came from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 against Roma in midweek, only for the irrepressible Francesco Totti to come up trumps with a late equaliser.

Chievo are one of Serie A’s most in-form sides, with Rolando Maran’s team thrashing Frosinone 5-1 last time out to record their biggest win of the season so far. They have won four of their last five games and a top-half finish now looks on the cards – they could even finish in the top-seven if they can continue their excellent form.

Although there are only three teams between them in the league, Chievo have looked terrific in their last few Serie A matches and it is easy to side with them for this game, even with Federico Mattiello, Dario Dainelli and Nicolas Frey all expected to miss out.
