      Juventus to Win

      Reason for tip

Juventus put in a strong display to beat a talented Napoli side 2-0 in Turin on Sunday and the Old Lady are fancied to follow up at AZ Alkmaar. AZ have failed to even score in four of their last eight matches and Juve have the firepower to strike.

      Juventus 2-0

      Reason for tip

Juventus have won seven matches in all competitions this season and four of those victories have come without conceding. Any Old Lady success is built on a solid defence and backing a 2-0 Juventus success could pay dividends at the AFAS Stadion.

      AZ Alkmaar vs Juventus Predictions

      • AZ have failed to score in four of their last eight games
      • AZ have won only three of their last nine matches
      • Juventus have taken seven points from their opening three Europa League matches

      Juve can make it pay

It has been an indifferent Serie A campaign for Juventus, who have won only five of their ten Italian top-flight matches this term, but the Old Lady have been playing far better than that record suggests.

The Turin outfit beat Napoli 2-0 at the Juventus Stadium on Sunday and that data for that tie gives a clear indication of the level Juve can reach.

Luciano Spalletti’s men won the shot count 18-8 and the corner count 13-3, and while Napoli were reduced to ten men following Luca Marianucci’s red card, Juventus were already on top at that point.

Juventus have beaten NEC Nijmegen 5-0 and Celta Vigo 2-1 in the Europa League this season and the Italians were the better side when drawing 2-2 with Rennes in Turin.

Juve head for AZ Alkmaar on Thursday, having won away games at Celta Vigo, Lecce and Frosinone and that should give Spalletti’s men the confidence to win at the AFAS Stadion.

AZ have won only three of their last nine matches and the Cheese Farmers have failed to score in four of their last eight contests.

Juventus look a nice price to win in the Netherlands.
