Barnet vs Portsmouth Predictions

Both these sides will go into this match with promotion hopes but we are backing Portsmouth to take three points back to the south coast with them and an away win is priced at 5/6 with bet365. For our correct score tip we think Pompey will just prove too strong for their hosts and we are backing them to grab a 2-1 win, which is priced at 15/2 with the same site.

Barnet may have won midweek but it was their first win in their last six games. That result keeps the Bees in touch with the play-off picture but with just 18 points from their 15 home games in the league this season they will have to improve their form on home soil if they have any chances of making the end of season shoot out.

Visiting the Hive Stadium is a Portsmouth side who come into this match on the back of two wins in a row and after an inconsistent start to 2017 there are signs that Pompey could be starting to become the type of title hunting team many expected at the start of the season. They have the best defensive record in the division and with the troubles of the sides currently occupying the top three there is plenty to play for on Saturday.

A nice looking side bet is backing John Akinde to score anytime, which is priced at 2/1 with bet365. The 27-year-old striker is continuing his impressive record since joining Barnet in 2014 and he leads the leagues scoring charts with 20 goals this season.
