Bayer Leverkusen Double Chance (Win or Draw)

      Reason for tip

Injuries have caused Paris Saint-Germain, treble-winners last term, to enjoy a mixed start to the season. They have won just two of their last five matches and while some key players are slowly getting back to fitness, they look far too short a price at Bayer Leverkusen, who are unbeaten under Kasper Hjulmand.

      Bayer Leverkusen 2-1

      Reason for tip

PSG may struggle to win in Leverkusen but they scored three times against a resolute Strasbourg on Friday and have more than enough firepower to find the net. Leverkusen have scored 15 goals in seven games under Hjulmand, however, and can edge a shootout.

      Bayer Leverkusen vs PSG Predictions

      • Bayer Leverkusen are unbeaten in seven games under Kasper Hjulmand
      • Paris Saint-Germain have won just two of their last five matches
      • Both teams to score has been a winning bet in eight of Leverkusen’s last nine games, as well as each of PSG’s last three

      Leverkusen likely to trouble trophy-holders

Last season’s winners Paris Saint-Germain have made a perfect start to their Champions League defence, routing Atalanta 4-0 before overcoming an injury crisis to win 2-1 at Barcelona, but that may come to an end on Tuesday.

The Parisians stumbled to a second straight Ligue 1 draw on Friday, needing a late Senny Mayulu equaliser to rescue a point against Strasbourg, and a trip to improving Bayer Leverkusen may prove a difficult task.

Bayer bit the bullet and sacked Erik ten Hag after just three games but are already reaping the rewards, going unbeaten in their opening seven games under Kasper Hjulmand.

Bayer bound to frustrate French foes

The former Denmark boss led his side to an impressive 4-3 win at Mainz on Saturday and could land a stunning result against PSG, who still seem short of ideas without the talismanic Ousmane Dembele.

The bookies side with last season’s standout team but having drawn with Lille and been beaten by Marseille in their last three away games, the Parisians look vulnerable at a short price.
