AC Milan fine themselves eight points behind city rivals Inter in the Serie A table after four games without a win in the Italian top flight and it could be a tight encounter when they face Fiorentina at the San Siro on Saturday.

La Viola have struggled for goals lately, even though they won their last match against Bologna, which ended a run of three games when they were unable to find the net.

Milan could be excused for being edgy after successive home league 1-0 defeats to Udinese and Juventus and with 11 of their last 14 home games failing to generate more than two goals, this could be a low-scoring clash between the teams who start the weekend third and sixth in the table.
