Bayer Leverkusen Draw No Bet

Reason for tip

Leverkusen took four points off Bayern Munich last season and could hold a psychological edge in this matchup now. Die Werkself have won 16 and drawn three of their Bundesliga away trips since the start of last season, meaning Bayern have lost more Bundesliga home games in their last 10 than Leverkusen have lost away trips in their last 25.

Bayer Leverkusen 3-2

Reason for tip

Bayern are scoring lots of goals at the moment but Vincent Kompany’s team still have moments when they lose focus in games, such as when conceding twice after half-time against Dinamo Zagreb. Leverkusen have scored at least three goals in each of their last three games, but have been conceding tem too. Given Leverkusen beat Bayern 3-0 last February and drew 2-2 in Munich a 3-2 away win should have good chance of landing correct score bets.

Florian Wirtz To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Florian Wirtz has scored four goals in his last four Bundesliga games and appears to be in the sort of form that will give Bayern’s defence major problems. He also scored two in a recent Champions League match and one for Germany in September’s international break.

Allianz Arena clash could be another classic

All eyes will be on the Allianz Arena this weekend when Bayern Munich host champions Bayer Leverkusen in the first of their two pivotal Bundesliga clashes this season.

For some, it is a shame that such an important game has been scheduled for only the fifth round of fixtures. But both clubs already occupy the top two places in the table and the fact that this match falls after a midweek when neither side was in European action enhances the prospects of a fully intense clash.

When they met on a Friday night in the immediate aftermath of an international break almost a year ago, Leverkusen secured a 2-2 draw in stoppage-time thanks to a penalty. But Xabi Alonso’s side made Bayern look totally inferior when they dished out a 3-0 defeat to Thomas Tuchel’s side at the BayArena in February.

Leverkusen look dangerous enough to claim a win

Bayern may be in better-looking form going into this game after 6-1, 9-2 and 5-0 wins, but Leverkusen are in great shape too and must have the psychological edge. Die Werkself have won 16 and drawn three of their Bundesliga away trips since the start of last season and can be trusted to, at the very least, avoid defeat in this contest

But backing them to win ‘Draw no Bet’ also has plenty going for it as Bayern will be without legendary goalkeeper Manuel Neuer while the visitors look likely to be at full strength for the clash.

Put it this way, Bayern have lost more Bundesliga home games in their last 10 than Leverkusen have lost away trips in their last 25.
