Belarus vs Czech Republic Predictions

• Belarus have lost all of their last six matches and have conceded in all of their previous nine games.
• The visitors have emerged victorious in their previous meeting with Belarus and kept a clean sheet.
• The Czechs have had some tough fixtures of late, but they should be far too strong here.

The Czech Republic to battle out a win in Belarus

The visitors come into this one knowing that they cannot top their group as Belgium are simply too far ahead so maintaining second place in the group is the focus.

Jaroslav Šilhavý’s side are winless in their last three outings, but to put it into perspective, they have played the number one ranked side in Belgium, a physical Ukraine team and a resurgent Wales. This one should be a little easier for them and they should dominate from the first whistle.

Belarus have just three points so far in this qualifying campaign and they came in the first match. Since then they’ve gone on to lose every single game that includes an 8-0 thumping from Belgium, a loss to their next opponent Czech Republic and a disappointing defeat to Estonia.

They’ve never qualified for a major tournament and don’t possess the quality to challenge, something the Czech’s will hope to exploit.

The hosts have conceded in all of their last nine games and look an extremely poor side with weaknesses all over the pitch. This will be an easier fixture for the Czech Republic than they have had lately and we’re expecting them to claim a much needed three points without conceding.
