      Blackburn Rovers Draw No Bet

      Reason for tip

Ipswich were beaten 2-1 at Oxford on Friday evening and their third match in just seven days could yield a similar scoreline. The Tractor Boys won 2-0 away at Hull last Tuesday but they are the model of inconsistency and their hectic schedule could catch up with them in this rearranged fixture following an abandonment earlier this season.

      Blackburn Rovers 2-1

      Reason for tip

Blackburn have struggled on home turf this term but this looks a good opportunity for a maximum Rovers return of three points. The Lancashire side have performed well on their travels but will be desperate to transfer that form to Ewood Park and that could lead to an edgy home win over an Ipswich who may jaded  following three games in a week.

      Blackburn Rovers vs Ipswich Predictions

      • Ipswich have won just one of their last nine visits to Blackburn
      • The Tractor Boys have won just three of their eight away matches this term
      • Blackburn have lost just two of their last seven matches

      Take on tired Tractor Boys

Ipswich were starting to look like genuine promotion contenders with a six-match unbeaten streak but Saturday’s 2-1 loss at Oxford was quite a setback and the Tractor Boys could be vulnerable for this tricky trip to Blackburn.

This match has been rearranged from the one which was abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch in controversial circumstances in October, and it means Kieran McKenna’s men will have to play their third match in seven days.

Blackburn were leading that match 1-0 before officials called it off in the 80th minute so there could be a determination to finish the job second time around.

Rovers have been poor at home this term, winning just once from eight outings in front of their own fans and Ipswich aren’t easily taken on.

However, it would be right to expect a level of tiredness in the visiting camp and Town have a poor record at this venue anyway.

The Suffolk side have won just one of their last nine visits to Ewood Park, so backing the home team while keeping the draw on side looks a sensible ploy.

A 2-1 home win looks a possible outcome should Rovers manage to get their noses in front.
