St Pauli have shown some fight in the survival battle in recent weeks but they currently occupy the relegation play-off spot in the Bundesliga ahead of Friday’s trip to drop rivals Borussia Monchengladbach.

Gladbach sit in 12th place but they are only a point ahead of the visitors, and their form is concerning with just six points to show from their last nine games.

The visitors are the underdogs here and the best bet is perhaps backing St Pauli to either win or draw in the double chance market.
