France and Belgium clash in Paris

France remain unbeaten after three games since Zinedine Zidane took charge but there is room for improvement ahead of the visit of Belgium on Monday.

Les Bleus picked up a pair of 1-0 away wins over Turkey and Monday’s opponents in Zidane’s first two games before being held to a 1-1 draw by Italy at the Stade de France, with defender Dayot Upamecano sent off late on against the Azzurri.

France should be able to respond to that stalemate by beating Belgium as they dominated their first meeting in Brussels at the end of last month, while there is a good chance this is another low scoring game.

All three of France’s games in the Nations League have produced under 2.5 goals, as have two of Belgium’s three. Zidane’s side have kept two clean sheets and the best angle for a bit of value looks to be backing a France win to nil.

Belgium have only suffered two defeats in their last 22 games and both of those losses have come via one-goal margins, so a 1-0 France win is the pick in the correct score market.
