Gunners aim for top spot

Arsenal returned to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Luton in midweek and they will hope to end Saturday top of the pile when they make the trip to the south coast to face Brighton.

The Gunners are now unbeaten in ten top-flight matches and have won nine of those, with their only failure to claim maximum points coming in their drab meeting with title rivals Manchester City last weekend.

Seagulls struggle to rediscover form

Brighton, by contrast, have been wildly inconsistent in both results and performances this season and find themselves out of Europe and struggling to keep pace in the battle for qualification next term.

The Seagulls played out a goalless draw with Brentford in midweek and have won just one of their last five in the league, while their previously high-scoring style of play has fallen away and they have now scored just twice in their last four games.

Havertz can continue purple patch

This will come as bad news for the Amex Stadium faithful, who welcome an Arsenal side who have kept four successive league clean sheets away from home. They have scored a massive 17 goals in these four trips, too, so backing them to win on Saturday along with a 3-0 scoreline appeals.

Kai Havertz offers good value in the anytime goalscorer market. The 24-year-old suffered a slow start to life at the Emirates but has found his feet of late. He has scored four and assisted three in his last six Premier League matches and scored in the reverse fixture against Brighton in December.
