Hosts can make a strong start

Celta Vigo should be backed to beat Getafe at home in the Primera Liga on Sunday. The hosts claimed 11 home wins last season and manager Claudio Giraldez will be hopeful of getting a positive result against Jose Bordalas’ side.

Celta Vigo finished seventh in the Primera Liga last season with 16 wins and 15 losses, while Getafe finished 13th, winning 11 games and losing 18.

The home team finished with a flourish, winning four of their last six matches, while Getafe failed to win seven of their last eight games and stumbled to a 3-0 defeat away to Girona on the final weekend.

Although Getafe won seven times on the road last term, they ended the campaign on a sour note, failing to score in three of their last four road matches.

Celta Vigo may be able to edge out Getafe in a close game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. BTTS had come in by half-time when they last clashed in the Primera Liga in May and Getafe suffered 14 single-goal defeats last season.
