Colombia host Chile in key qualifier

Colombia and Chile meet this week in a crucial fixture for both teams in their bid to reach the next World Cup.

Colombia are in the play-off spot, with Chile three points further back in eighth place and this could be a nervy encounter.

Both teams to score stands out as one option here as there have been goals at both ends in six of Colombia’s last seven games.  Chile have failed to score in each of their last four fixtures, but they have played Brazil twice during that run. Prior to that, Chile scored in 11 consecutive matches and both teams scored in nine of those.

Colombia’s last two games have finished 1-1 and that is my correct score bet for this fixture, with four of Chile’s last nine games also finishing 1-1.
