Crawley aim for huge victory

An unbeaten run of three matches has seriously boosted Crawley’s hopes of avoiding relegation out of the Football League, with wins over Harrogate and Wimbledon backed up by a draw at home to Doncaster.

Scott Lindsey’s side will be confident of continuing their good form at Broadfield Stadium, where they have lost just three of their last 12 League Two outings.

Indeed, the Red Devils have been in pretty good touch at home, picking up seven wins and three draws from 17 matches, while only seven of their 33 points have been collected on the road.

Rochdale in big trouble

While a win for Crawley this weekend would further enhance their prospects of staying up, it would effectively consign Rochdale to the National League.

Defeat would leave the Spotland outfit ten points from safety with just eight games to go, and given they have won once in 12 away outings, it seems the most likely result.

Jim Bentley’s side have lost eight of those dozen fixtures, as well as eight of their last 12 outings at all venues, so form has certainly deserted them at this crucial stage of the campaign.
