Crystal Palace vs Lech Poznan Predictions

After last year’s success in the Europa Conference League, Crystal Palace will look to hit the ground running in the Europa League when they host Lech Poznan on Thursday.

The Eagles went all the way under Oliver Glasner last year in another hugely successful season for the club, but new boss Pierre Sage has not been able to hit the ground running since he stepped into the dugout.

Palace have lost three of their first five games and were beaten 3-2 by Ipswich Town last time out in the Premier League. Palace have scored two or more goals in three consecutive games, so they should be able to cause their Polish opponents problems.

However, Poznan have only lost one in ten and they will expect to score against a Palace team that have conceded 11 goals so far this season.

Poznan have seen both teams score in four of their last five matches and Niels Frederiksen’s side have scored two or more goals in six of their last eight outings.

Frederiksen’s team reached the Round of 16 in the Conference League last year, so they should be able to push Palace all the way, especially with the Eagles struggling at the back.
