Genk were denied a place in the last 16 by goal difference alone at the conclusion of the league phase of the Europa League and they now face Dinamo Zagreb in a two-legged play-off.

The visitors are the underdogs to win on the night on Thursday but their form suggests they may be able to take a lead back to Belgium for the return fixture.

Genk are on a four-game winning streak and they’ve won their last three away from home, while they also claimed nine points from four league phase trips and picked up eye-catching wins at Rangers and Braga.

Dinamo made an excellent start to their own league phase bid but their form tailed off as they lost four of their final five games. Genk claimed two clean sheets in their four away league phase games and Dinamo drew blanks in three of their four losses, so the visitors may be able to win without conceding and a 2-0 away win seems a reasonable correct score prediction.
