Dinamo Zagreb have reached this point after a 5-2 (on aggregate) victory over Icelandic side, Valur in the last qualifying round. The victory was fairly academic but the side have lost their opening game in the Croatian domestic league, to throw some doubt over their chances in this tie.

Omonia Nicosia didn’t have to go through any further qualification rounds to reach this point but they will be buoyed by their Cypriot Super Cup win over Anorthosis last week. The side have gone nine games without a loss in all competitions and have enough quality to cause Zagreb plenty of problems.

Despite this, Zagreb come into the game as heavy favourites, with their odds to win not representing much value. We think the value lies in the over/under market though and, with both teams not willing to give much away in the first leg, we’re backing this game to see under 2.5 goals.

Zagreb really should be taking the advantage at home and we think they will claim the win but they will still be cautious heading into the second leg as we forecast them a 2-0 victory in this game.
