Eintracht Braunschweig vs Freiburg Betting Tips & Predictions

Eintracht Braunschweig are enduring a bit of a difficult spell at the moment. They have only won one of their last eight league matches and have lost three times during this period, a run of form which has seen their hopes for achieving a promotion playoff spot fade away a bit.

They now sit in 9th position in the 2. Bundesliga with six teams and eight points sitting between them and the crucial 3rd position in the tablem currently occupied by Nurnberg.

This gap could well increase after this weekend, because Eintracht Braunschweig are coming up against the seemingly unstoppable Freiburg on Monday.

The visitors find themselves at the top of the table at the moment, but only just. They lead Leipzig on goal difference and have a six point advantage over Nurnberg, so automatic promotion is well within their sights. Freiburg have won their last four away days in the 2. Bundesliga as well, so it could be a very difficult evening for an Eintracht Braunschweig side who are struggling for points at the moment. I’m expecting a win for the visitors to continue their title charge, and odds of 1/1 for a Freiburg win are looking very attractive to me.
