FC Levadia Tallinn vs Dundalk Predictions
BETTING TIP – OVER 3.5 GOALS
CORRECT SCORE PREDICTION – 2-2 DRAW
- Levadia have scored at least two goals in 10 of their 12 home games since March.
- Dundalk have won five, drawn three and lost one since Vinny Perth was re-appointed as manager in mid-June.
- Dundalk have scored in every one of their away games this season.
- Levadia have conceded 17 in their last ten home games.
Another thriller in prospect for Tallinn tussle
Dundalk fluffed their chance to establish a first-leg lead when they dominated the second half of their 2-2 draw with Levadia Tallinn in Dublin.
Goals were expected and they certainly came with the Lilywhites coming from behind twice in a crazy opening half an hour last Thursday.
But, with prizemoney of 550,000 euros and a place in the next round against Vitesse Arnhem at stake, Vinny Perth’s men could regret not bringing an advantage to Estonia.
They knew Levadia were a powerful attacking force (46 goals scored in 17 league games) beforehand, but suspicions that the green-whites were vulnerable at the back too were confirmed.
Dundalk are not out of the tie and their proven ability to score goals on the road should give the home side problems, particularly as Vladimir Vasiliev’s side have been shipping an average of 1.7 goals a game of late.
They won’t lack belief either as the turnaround in Dundalk’s fortunes has been clear since Perth was sensationally brought back to the dugout last month.
Our forecast is for another thriller in Tallinn and a repeat of last week’s 2-2 draw with Over 3.5 goals the best play because it is too close to call a winner between these two attack-minded sides.
