Finland vs Denmark Predictions
- Finland have won their last four games without conceding.
- Denmark are winless in six games on foreign soil.
- Finland have won three of their last five home games.
Top two meet in Group H
Finland lead the way in Group H with 12 points from five games, two clear of Sunday’s visitors Denmark in second spot and Slovenia in third.
The Danes won 3-1 when these sides met in the reverse fixture in March but Denmark have found results hard to come by away from home of late and Finland will fancy their chances of claiming a crucial win in the battle to reaching Euro 2024.
Finns can make most of home advantage
Denmark have failed to win any of their last six games on foreign soil, including a winless World Cup campaign in Qatar last year, and they have lost four of those fixtures.
Finland have responded well to that 3-1 loss in Copenhagen in March with four successive Euro 2024 qualifying wins to put themselves in the driving season in Group H – and at home they are generally strong with just one defeat in their last five games overall and no losses in their last five competitive home games.
Given Denmark’s away issues, Finland look well worth the risk as big underdogs here. This game is likely to be close and as Finland have managed four successive clean sheets and Denmark’s last five defeats have all been by one-goal margins a hard-fought 1-0 win for the Huuhkajat is the correct score prediction.
