      Poland to Win

      Reason for tip

Poland have won three games in a row fairly comfortably and they should be able to get the better of a Finland team who lost all six of their Nations League games recently and may come up short once again.

      Poland 1-0

      Reason for tip

The goals could be hard to come by without Robert Lewandowski and this may be a low-scoring clash, take Poland to edge it 1-0.

      Finland vs Poland Predictions

      • Finland have lost seven of their last nine games
      • Poland have won three in a row without conceding
      • Four of Finland’s last five games have gone under 2.5 goals

      Hosts struggling

Poland are not the force of old but they have won three on the spin in comfortable fashion and should have too much for hosts Finland in this World Cup qualifier.

The home side lost all six of their recent Nations League games and were held to a 2-2 draw by Lithuania recently before losing 2-0 to the Netherlands last time out.

Jacob Friis’ side have only ever qualified for one major tournament, Euro 2020, and they look unlikely to add to that tally after taking four points from their first three games this time around.

Eagles can get job done without Lewandowski

Poland are without star striker Robert Lewandowski, who has stated he will not play for his nation under current boss Michal Probierz, but still have a solid squad with the likes of Inter pair Piotr Zielinski and Nicola Zalewski as well as Aston Villa’s Matty Cash, who netted against Poland.

Goals may prove harder to come by than usual in Lewandowski’s absence but the Eagles are looking to make it three wins from three qualifiers and are fancied to do so.

Don’t expect a high-scoring affair however, under 2.5 goals has landed in four of Finland’s last five games and this could be an attritional win for the visitors, take them to prevail 1-0.
