      AC Milan to Win

      Reason for tip

Milan are unbeaten on their travels in Serie A this season and off the back of last week’s derby success over Inter, which has reignited their title hopes, they can get the better of an underwhelming Lazio side that have won just three of their last 13 league fixtures.

      AC Milan 2-1

      Reason for tip

Milan have scored exactly two goals in back-to-back away games at Pisa and Cremonese, beating the former 2-1, while Lazio have conceded, on average, two goals-per-game across their last six Serie A home matches.

      Lazio vs AC Milan Predictions

      • Lazio have only won three of their last 13 matches in Serie A
      • AC Milan boast the division’s only unbeaten away record
      • The Rossoneri are fresh from last week’s derby victory over Inter

Rossoneri to reignite title bid further

AC Milan boosted their slim hopes of winning Serie A with last week’s derby success over leaders Inter, with that 1-0 victory closing them to within seven points of the summit.

Following up on that success will be imperative for Massimiliano Allegri’s side and they will be confident of doing so when they head to the capital to take on an underperforming Lazio, especially as they remain unbeaten on their travels in the league this season.

The Rossoneri have won nine and drawn five of their 14 road fixtures, a run that includes avoiding defeat at Juventus, Atalanta, Roma and in their designated away fixture against Inter, who they have now completed the league double over.

      Lazio continue to underwhelm

It has been a tough season for Lazio, particularly over recent months, as they have won only three of their last 13 matches in Serie A, a run that dates back to mid-December.

The Biancocelesti did triumph last time out against Sassuolo, but that 2-1 success at the Stadio Olimpico was only achieved thanks to Adam Marusic capitalising on a goalkeeping error deep into second-half stoppage time.

That was only Lazio’s second home win in the league since November and Maurizio Sarri’s side may struggle to contain a Milan team that have plenty of incentive to go all out for the victory.
