Fulham vs Bristol City Betting Tips and Predictions

Almost out of nowhere Fulham seem to be right back in the relegation mire. That is mostly down to Rotherham winning 3 games on the spin to bring both Fulham and Bristol City closer to themselves but the Londoners haven’t helped themselves by failing to win any of their last 4 league games. They’ve had some tough matches though and away points at Leeds and Reading could still prove crucial while home defeats to the top two clubs Burnley and Middlesbrough weren’t huge shocks.

This though is a game where Fulham go in as favourites, something they haven’t done since they played Charlton at Craven Cottage last month. They were comfortable 3-0 winners that day and if they can repeat that level of performance or the one they put in to win 3-1 at QPR prior to that then they could be too hot for the Robins.

Bristol City looked to be really pulling clear of the drop-zone when they took 12 points from their 5 games in Febuary but defeats against Cardiff and Wolves so far this month leave them looking nervously over their shoulders once more. Bristol City are level on points with Fulham but with a vastly inferior goal difference and are now only 2 points above Rotherham in the relegation zone.

This game certainly has the potential to throw up a few goals. Fulham the 2nd best goalscoring record in the league but the 2nd worst defensive record so goals are usually a certainty when they play and they will be confident of exploiting a Bristol City defence that also concedes plenty and let in 4 goals in a disastrous 1st half when they hosted Fulham back in October. Therefore backing Fulham to win 3-1 at 16/1 looks a decent punt with big potential returns here.
