Bayern to edge entertaining contest

Bayern Munich are unbeaten in 11 matches across all competitions and they sit top of Champions League Group A after winning their opening two fixtures against Manchester United and Copenhagen, scoring six goals in the process.

The Bavarians are also the top scorers in the Bundesliga following Saturday’s 3-1 win at Mainz, but they have been anything but watertight at the back, as they have both scored and conceded in seven of their last 10 matches.

That will give hosts Galatasaray hope of at least getting on the scoresheet. The Turkish giants sit second in the group after taking four points from their opening two games, a sequence that includes a 3-2 victory at Manchester United.

Gala have plenty of attacking flair

That sequence includes a brace in Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig and he will expect to continue that hot streak against Bayern, even if Gala’s own impressive run is brought to an end.
