Over 2.5 goals looks like the bet when Borussia Dortmund visit Heidenheim on Saturday. The hosts’ manager Frank Schmidt will be up against Niko Kovac, and Dortmund have scored in 12 of their last 14 league games.

Heidenheim finished 16th in the league last season, with just eight wins from their 34 games, while Borussia Dortmund were fourth, having won 17 of their 34 matches.

Heidenheim have lost two home games in a row and gone three Bundesliga games without winning, while Borussia Dortmund have won eight of their last ten matches and enjoyed two successive wins over Heidenheim.

Heidenheim lost 2-0 two weeks ago to a Leipzig side who had gone six Bundesliga games without a win, but the result was no surprise, with Leipzig priced at 4/9 to win the game.

Both teams have defensive issues. Heidenheim have conceded in 16 of their last 20 Bundesliga home games and Borussia Dortmund are on a run of six away days without keeping a clean sheet.

The last ten Borussia Dortmund games in the Bundesliga have finished with three or more goals and over 2.5 goals was a winning bet in 24 of their 34 games last season.

A 2-1 away win for Borussia Dortmund looks like a decent correct-score bet. Heidenheim have lost eight of their last ten Bundesliga home matches, and Dortmund were 2-1 winners when the teams last met in the league.
