Herons lucky to escape with a point in opener

Inter Miami rode their luck to escape from their opening game against Al Ahly with a goalless draw and they may not have the same fortune when they face Porto on Thursday.

The Herons have goalkeeper Oscar Ustari to thank for their point from the opening game as he made a series of saves to keep out their opponents.

Aside from Lionel Messi, there is a distinct lack of quality in this Inter Miami side and they look a shadow of the outfit that took home the Supporters’ Shield in the MLS last season.

They have conceded 24 goals in their last ten matches and look in big danger against this Porto side.

Dragons to overpower Messi and co

The Dragons had some decent chances to put Palmeiras away in their opener but also saw goalkeeper Claudio Ramos produce some outstanding saves.

They should be able to find their way through what has been a porous Herons backline however, especially if their attacking stars such as Samu Aghehowa come on for the run following their opening match.

Both teams could play their part in what looks set to be a high-scoring affair, but Porto should be able to demonstrate their superiority and win a game that also goes over 2.5 goals.
