Inter Milan To Win To Nil

      Reason for tip

Inter Milan are unbeaten in nine Champions League home games, keeping clean-sheets in seven of those, so they should prove too strong for a Crvena Zvezda side that have lost eight away matches on the spin in Europe.

      Inter Milan 2-0

      Reason for tip

Three of Inter’s last five home victories have been by a 2-0 scoreline and they can repeat that outcome against a Crvena Zvezda team that lost all three of their away games in last season’s Champions League group stage by a two-goal margin.

Inter Milan vs Crvena Zvezda Predictions

      • Inter Milan are unbeaten in nine Champions League home games, keeping clean-sheets in seven of those
      • Crvena Zvezda have lost their last eight European away games
      • Three of Inter’s last five home victories have been by a 2-0 scoreline

      Routine win expected for Inter

Inter Milan claimed a credible 0-0 draw at Manchester City in their Champions League opener and they will now expect to register their first win in this season’s competition when Crvena Zvezda visit Stadio San Siro.

The Nerazzurri are unbeaten in their last nine Champions League home games, keeping clean-sheets in seven of those, including against the likes of Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and city rivals AC Milan.

Having lost just one of their last 16 home games in all competitions, Inter should prove too strong for their Serbian opponents, who have been poor travellers in Europe for some time.

Away-day blues to continue for Crvena Zvezda

Crvena Zvezda booked their place in the main draw of this season’s Champions League despite losing the away leg of their play-off tie with Bodo/Glimt.

That defeat in Norway was no surprise, as they have now lost each of their last eight away matches in Europe, including five on the spin in the Champions League.

All three of their away defeats in last season’s group stage were by a two-goal margin and given three of Inter’s last five home victories across all competitions have been by a 2-0 scoreline, that result could bear fruit once again this midweek.
