Scotland 1-0 @ 13/2

Reason For Israel vs Scotland Predictions

  • Scotland have lost just one of their last ten internationals (W6, D3).
  • That run has included two draws against Israel, with the Tartan Army winning one of those ties on penalties.
  • Israel have won just one of their last eight internationals and just one of their last five on home soil.

More Success Looming For Scotland

Scotland need a win to secure promotion to League A when they face recent adversaries Israel on Wednesday and we fancy The Tartan Army to get the job done in Netanya.

Scotland’s nine match unbeaten streak came to an end in Slovakia (1-0) at the weekend, but their lapse was somewhat understandable following a dramatic penalties victory in Serbia last week to clinch their place at Euro 2020.

Nevertheless, the reverse was a potentially damaging one, as it puts pressure on Steve Clarke’s men to land all three points here in Israel, with the Czech Republic just a point behind and breathing down their necks.

With the Czech’s likely to beat Slovakia on home soil, Scotland will probably need a win in Netanya to earn promotion to League A but the form book and momentum gives them every chance.

While their two recent home clashes against Israel have ended all square after 90 minutes, Clarke’s side have been going from strength to strength over the last few weeks and confidence in camp will be sky high following such a tremendous performance in Serbia.

The Scots will be switched back on this Wednesday with so much at stake and it’s hard to oppose them pulling off another significant success with six wins registered in their last ten outings.

Israel have won just one of their last eight, losing four, and offered little in a 1-0 defeat against Czech Republic at the weekend. We recommend taking the ‘Draw No Bet’ on the visitors for a bit of insurance, alongside a 0-1 correct score.
