Draw

Reason for tip

Juventus have drawn three of their last six league games and three of their last five at home. They are in a bit of a funk at the moment with only one win in their last nine games in all competitions. Fiorentina, meanwhile, have drawn three of their last five Serie A matches and would take a draw in a clash that falls between two crucial cup ties.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

La Viola have scored no more than one goal in eight of their last nine away league contests so if they grab a draw it will probably be either 0-0 or 1-1.

Juventus vs Fiorentina Predictions

  • Fiorentina have drawn three of their last five Serie A matches
  • La Viola have scored no more than one goal in eight of their last nine away league contests

Struggling Juve will welcome sight of Fiorentina

Juventus will welcome the sight of Fiorentina as they seek to break a four-game winless run in Serie A this weekend. La Viola have an awful recent record at Allianz Stadium, winning one and losing nine of their last 10 visits to the Old Lady’s ground.

But Vincenzo Italiano’s side will sense that this is an opportunity to turn the tide as they tackle a Juventus team on the slide.

The Bianconeri have lost four of their last nine games in all competitions with their only victory during that run coming by way of a 3-2 home win against fourth-bottom Frosinone.

Draw could be on the cards

A draw seems the most likely outcome of this clash, however, due to the high incidence of stalemates on both clubs’ records.

Juventus have drawn three of their last six league games and three of their last five at home while Fiorentina have drawn three of their last five Serie A matches.

La Viola earned a useful 1-0 first-leg lead against Atalanta in the Coppa Italia in midweek, but may hold some of their horses back for the Europa Conference League trip to Viktoria Plzen next week as that represents their best chance of playing Europa League football again next term. These clubs could clash again in the Coppa Final later this season, but for now a draw looks like being the best available bet for this league clash.
