Le Havre vs Lens Predictions

  • Lens have lost three of their four Ligue 1 away games this season.
  • Le Havre have only lost three of their eight league assignments.
  • Nabil Alioui has scored five goals in his last six Ligue 1 appearances.

Le Havre ready for reset

Le Havre went into the international break off the back of successive defeats but the reset could be just what they needed to get back on track against a Lens side that have struggled on the road this season.

The hosts made a great start in their first top-flight season since 2009 prior to those defeats, losing just one of six outings and claiming two wins along the way.

Lens’ start to the campaign has been a mirror image of their opponents, going winless in their first five outings before taking seven points from their last three games.

Spoils to be shared at Stade Oceane

However, Franck Haise’s side have lost three of their four away days in the league and conceded three goals in each of these defeats. Their opponents were of admittedly greater quality than Le Havre but, with the hosts winning two of their last three at home, backing them in the double chance market looks a good choice.

Lens have played out two 1-1 draws so far this season and Le Havre have shared the spoils on three occasions this season, so a 1-1 correct score prediction appeals.

Luka Elsner’s side have Nabil Alioui to thank for much of their early-season success. The 24-year-old Frenchman has scored four goals in his last six appearances for Le Havre and looks good value in the anytime goalscorer market.
