Go for goals at both ends when Imps host Pilgrims

Both teams to score looks the best bet when Lincoln and Plymouth clash at Sincil Bank on Saturday.

Lincoln finished 11th in League One last season, whilst Plymouth were relegated from the Championship at the end of a tumultuous campaign that started with Wayne Rooney in charge.

The Imps have made a mixed start to the season, beating Reading 2-0 at home then going down by the same scoreline at AFC Wimbledon the following week, while Plymouth, now with Tom Cleverley at the helm, have suffered two losses.

Neither side has been solid at the back, with Lincoln failing to keep a clean sheet in six of their last eight League One games and Plymouth conceding in 22 of their last 23 league matches.

Lincoln may be able to edge out Plymouth in a 2-1 home win, with both teams likely to score. Eleven of Plymouth’s last 13 league games have gone over 2.5 goals, and this should be another high-scoring encounter.
