Livingston vs Partick Thistle Predictions
- Robbie Muirhead has three goals in his last four games
- Under 2.5 goals has landed in the last seven head-to-heads
- Partick Thistle have only netted eight times in their last ten games
Livi with one foot in play-off final
Livingston were comfortable 2-0 winners over Partick Thistle in the first leg of the Scottish Premiership play-off semi-final and David Martindale’s men are as short as 1-100 to progress as a result.
Thistle overcame a goal deficit in the second leg of their quarter-final against Ayr but the chances of lightning striking twice look slim.
Livi had seven shots on target to the Jags’ one at Firhill on Tuesday and Brian Graham blazing over the bar from close range late on may well be the moment that Thistle come to regret.
The fourth-placed finishers have only scored eight goals in their last ten matches and now need at least two to keep their hopes of promotion alive.
The visitors will have to go for it at some point and as a result could leave themselves open at the back.
Robbie Muirhead has been a real standout for Livingston this season, he has three goals in his last four games and has netted twice against Thistle already this term.
The 29-year-old will be on penalty and free-kick duties for the home side and looks a tempting price to get on the scoresheet.
Correct score backers should note the fact that the last seven head-to-heads have all gone under 2.5 goals and side with a 2-0 win for Livingston for correct score purposes.8/5
