It’s been incredibly easy for Manchester City so far this season. Not once in their 3 games have they looked like they would struggle to win, even against the Premier League champions Chelsea.

They began with a standard 3-0 victory over West Brom, where we saw Yaya Toure back to his destructive self and they followed this with a routine dismantling of the Premier League champions in another 3-0 win.

Last week posed the most difficult challenge, but Kolarov and Nasri eventually led them to another comfortable victory.

This makes it 8 goals scored and zero conceded in their opening 3 matches, and with Chelsea looking old and decrepit it’s not hard to see why they have quickly overtaken them to become Premier League title favourites.

Watford haven’t had a disastrous start to their Premier League campaign by any means. Considering they are a newly promoted side, to go unbeaten in their opening 3 games is a very good achievement.

But they haven’t seemed capable of winning a game, as is evident by their 3 consecutive draws. They couldn’t even find a boost of confidence in the Capital One Cup, and were eliminated in midweek by Preston North End.

Some would say that Watford have actually been unlucky not to win in all of their 3 Premier League games so far, but 3 games in a row is unlikely to be coincidence. Yes, they have had the most of the opportunities in all their games, but if they lack the mental capacity to grab a win then this could be a real problem.

We can’t see them remaining unbeaten past Saturday either, Manchester City have been very impressive so far and at home they should manage another very comfortable win.
