Manchester United to Win and Under 3.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

Manchester United’s first match under Ruben Amorim finished with a 1-1 draw against Ipswich but the Red Devils are at least unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions and they can edge a low-scoring match against Bodo/Glimt of Norway.

Manchester United 2-1

Reason for tip

All three of Bodo/Glimt’s Europa League contests this season have been settled by single goals and this could also be tight, so back Manchester United to win 2-1 in the correct score market.

Manchester United vs Bodo Glimt Predictions

  • Manchester United are unbeaten in their last five games
  • All three of Bodo/Glimt’s Europa League matches have been settled by single-goal margins
  • Each of Manchester United’s last four games have featured under 3.5 goals

Amorim can secure first win at United

Ruben Amorim made a dream start to his Manchester United tenure when his side took the lead after 81 seconds against Ipswich Town but the visitors had to settle for a 1-1 draw in the end at Portman Road.

United’s opener from Marcus Rashford was as good as it got in Suffolk, where the Red Devils managed just four shots on target and lacked bite in attack.

It will naturally take time for the team to adapt to Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system but forwards such as Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirzkee need to improve and there seems to be a disconnect between United’s attack and the rest of their team.

They blew apart Leicester 5-2 at the end of October but their matches this month have generally been low-scoring and a bet on United to win and under 3.5 goals is the way to go when they face Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League.

Bodo/Glimt will not go down easily

Even at Old Trafford, Bodo/Glimt could be a tough nut to crack with the Norwegian side top of the Eliteserien.

In the Europa League they have beaten both Porto and Braga by single-goal margins before a 2-1 defeat and drew 0-0 with Union Saint-Gilloise.

Last time out they were edged 2-1 by Qarabag and they can keep things tight in Manchester, where a 2-1 win for the home side is the best approach in the correct score betting.
