With Manchester United and Bayern Munich still to come home and away, Galatasaray could not afford to lose that opener and will reflect on the point fondly.

They have since racked up three wins on the spin in Turkey, leaving them second in the Super Lig, just two points adrift of pacesetters Fenerbahce.

A visit to Old Trafford will not be easy but Galatasaray can drawn confidence from the fact United have lost there to Crystal Palace and Brighton this season, while they were also made to work hard in wins over Wolves and Nottingham Forest.

Nothing about this United team suggests they are a good bet against Galatasaray and punters should swerve the result market.

Instead, both teams to score and over 2.5 goals looks a good bet, having clicked in both United and Galatasaray’s Champions League openers.

As for a correct score prediction, it would be no surprise to see United drop points again given their current form and punters should consider backing a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford.
